Items to benefit the Eastside Family Shelter-
our support is year round!
* Toiletry items for women, children (from infant to teenagers) and men. Think personal care items that you use and they need the exact same thing. I usually use Ziploc bags so if item could fit in a gallon Ziploc that would be really helpful.
* New Books -- birth and 7th grade and here’s what I found: http://www.bcpl.info/kids-teens-parents-teachers/stories#book-lists
* Men’s’ Shelter Items—they are in need of men’s toiletries including warm gloves and socks.
8. Any items from the Eastside Shelter Wish list.- They have an IMMEDIATE NEED of the following items : =
a. Totes—30 gallon and 18 gallon—must be solid colors—no clear through lids or bottoms
b. Industrial Can Opener- the kind that fits on the end of the stainless steel table for opening super large cans
c. Twin Blankets
d. Soap
e. Towels and Wash Cloths
f. Shop Vac
g. Small Mini Vac
h. Flat bed cart-currently they only have carts for holding trays—makes it very difficult for large deliveries
i. WARM THINGS- hat’s, mittens, socks—for children, women and men –ALL AGES AND SIZES NEEDED
j. Undies—ALL SIZES-girls, boys, men and women- from small to plus sizes
k. T-shirts- ALL SIZES-girls, boys, men and women- from small to plus sizes (gently worn will be accepted)

Update as of October 25, 2017:
I've been in touch with Royal Farms and their hearing with the Administrative Law Judge was on October 25. Even though this is still a public hearing, it's more of a formality since gaining approval through the CZMP process. The judge gives his ruling in approx. 2-3 weeks. Once approval is given then Royal Farms has approx. 6 months of filing of permits with Baltimore County. The build out can begin.
We wrote a letter to the judge stating the reasons we feel that Royal Farms would be an asset to our community. Thanks to all who also sent emails to the judge.
I will keep you updated as I get more FYI.
Respectfully, Donna Bethke, President
